The Stuff: Recap of teh Centuree!

Tue Feb 6, 2007, 9:22 PM
  • Mood: Peaceful
  • Listening to: FLCL and Cowboy Bebop OSTs
  • Reading: Vampires: The Masquerade source books
  • Watching: Heroes
  • Playing: Vampires: The Masquerade
Note, that is not how "century" is spelled.

Anyway, I have important news. I shall be in a school play in a few days. It is called Bonechiller. It's not that good, but plays are still fun to do. I play Mauvins the butler. I get to die. But today I put on make-up for the first time; the make-up was, of course, stage make-up. I felt emasculated, but I also felt pretty so I didn't mind that much.

But yeah, I've seen quite a few movies and listened to quite a bit of music recently. But here's the run down.
- Akira - A truly amazing movie. It's now my favorite anime movie and it was made in frigging 1988.
- Little Miss Sunshine - Also really good. But I'd say it's a rental.
- Fight Club - Well, I've seen it before, but I've been watching it alot. It's my favorite movie of all time.
- Donnie Darko - It's really cool. It's rendition of Mad World is amazing. Really cool stuff.
- Man Stroke Woman - It's not like that. It's actually a British sketch comedy show with Nick Frost in it. For those who don't know Nick Frost played Ed in Shaun of the Dead and will also be in the upcoming Hot Fuzz.
- Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind - It's really cool. I'm confused on whether it would be a good date movie or not. But I'm hoping to see The Science of Sleep soon.
- High Fidelity - Awesome. It's got both John Cusack and Jack Black in it. And some excellent music too. Loved it.

I will also watch Reefer Madness, Feast, and Edward Scissorhands soon. None of which, I have seen before.

Music -
- Cowboy Bebop OSTs - Not all amazing, but there are some fantastic songs in there.
- Fooly Cooly OSTs - All of the songs are done by The Pillows. I love The Pillows. Nuff said.
- 3rd Eye Vision by Hieroglyphics - Well, it's mostly by Del tha Funkee Homosapien. This is about the closet I get to mainstream rap. But I love the song At The Helm. Some one reading this made have heard the song on a commercial for Tony Hawks' project 8.
- Akira OSTs - There's some pretty sweet stuff in there.

Other -
I GOT A WII! It's amazing, though i need to get Zelda. I got Rayman cause I thought I would be able to get Twilight Princess from Mason soon afterwards, but that has not been the case.
We had our first session of Vampires: The Masquerade. For those who don't know, it's kinda like Dungeons & Dragons. It's just pen & paper roleplaying. The nerdiness was pretty much awesome.
I'm also sick. My sister and dad have gotten very sick, but hopefully I will get sick AFTER the play ends. Because I don't want to have to do the play when I am shaking because I would be so fucking sick. But that would suck hard.

Why don't you stop being an ass? It doesn't state very clearly that it's stated towards you. I knew that you would know, but not sure if anyone else would. Now I don't come to your fucking page and bother you. Now get the the fuck out of here, I'm not in the mood.
